how fast is this?
Hey guys I started wondering on the bike the Kawasaki Eliminator 125 because I found out at 14 you can't go bigger than 125cc so how fast can that bike go because I know it cant be too fast since its a cruiser. So how fast do u think it'd go and how much you'd have to push it to go that fast? Thanks!
Have a good time ALL the time

This is for the 2001. Looks like about 60mph. Not super fast, but it'll get crazy high fuel economy!

10 HP from a 50cc? And it was a four stroke? I'd expect that from a 2-stroke, maybe..Psyco Diver 69 wrote:Thats all 12 hp, I've gotten more out of a 50cc briggs and stratton motor (well I've gotten around 10hp) Why is it so low on power?
This is a four stroke single cylinder engine.. Wonder what the compression ratio is on it?

Why does it matter?Slap-Bassist531 wrote:Hey guys I started wondering on the bike the Kawasaki Eliminator 125 because I found out at 14 you can't go bigger than 125cc so how fast can that bike go because I know it cant be too fast since its a cruiser. Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

it started at 7.8:1 compression and I had cut to bring it to about 9.5:1, then I switched to a dirtbike carb and a staight exhaust with no muffler, the thing would keep up with my friends 10hp gocart. That thing was pretty hairy, the throttle was a on/off switch, it was either bogging or making me go "oh "poo poo"". Man I miss that go cart, I should never sold it, esspecially to a kid for $275 he probably killed himself on that thing.Telesque wrote:10 HP from a 50cc? And it was a four stroke? In the junior dragsters they make about 50hp on a highly modified 50cc briggs and stratton motor, in highly modified I mean theres nothing original about these motors except the displacement, Hot Rod mag. did a article on them last year, good reading.
