In my area it is ride with pride http://www.ridewpride.com my brother in law and a few other people i know have been calling and emailing for months.
I even emailed and called them as a potential course taker and they did nothing, no emails no call backs....
Kinda sad, and we tell people to take the MSF and they can't get anyhting in return.. I don't know of anyother BRC courses in my area.. People are not going to wait forever, especially when they don't respond...
My brother in law has been emailing and calling since February. about twice a month...
To be honest I would not blame him to start riding without the training.. I would have lost my patience

Yeah, that is pretty sad when they won't call back or anything...
Here, http://www.msf-usa.org
Go to your area and it'll show any and all programs they back.

I hate it when an idiot provider gives the whole program a black eye. Go to the msf-usa site and find another provider. THEN, I suggest you email the MSF directly about the trouble you've been having.

I've got to wonder if perhaps the ride with PRIDE folks don't even open up their office until farther into spring. I mean, it is in NY after all.

In erie county they are the only provider and they have two locations and only one phone number to call. Their office is 1 minute from my house but they are never there and they dont have a sign for hours.. the next closest is about 3hrs away..

Some manufacturer like Honda offer free re-imbursement of BRC or ERC classes/class when you buy a new bike from them plus my insurance company told me I will get a 10% discount on my annual premium indefinitely. I recall trying to take advantage of this and signing up for a ERC on a couple of occasions and each time it was like a wild goose chase. Nobody knew what the heck they were talking about, one time they literally sent me to a college about 45 minutes away and told me I have to go there in person during certain hours to sign up. I went there and nobody knew anything about it. It was so bad, I just gave up. :frusty: As a disclaimer this was just for the ERC. The BRC seemed like it would be a easy sign-up.

When I bought my CBR600RR in '04, I tried again and was somehow able to go through the mazes and sign up for the class. I personally can't say I learned anything new in the ERC but I would highly recommend it for anyone that completed the BRC as a follow-up course. I did have fun and met some real nice people. One of the instructor was great. He was a highly skilled rider who threw his Ultra around the cones like it was a 250cc supermotard complete with sparks flying off his dragging floorboards. :cowboy: He was a helluva nice guy too. The other teacher was sort of cocky and arrogant.

It's also funny how their interpretation of a great panic stop varied as well.

MSF basically said to look at another facility, which would be the rochester one almost two hours away.
