Hey all I'm wanting to start riding but, I have no idea how to start or where and need a little help. I had my first ride about 3 weeks ago on a buddies bike and I fell in love with it. I went and took my permit test to get that out of the way. I'm about 6'2 i weigh about 145 if that means anything. I've also been reading around about what to start with so my first question is about the bike I'm looking at? I currently have a chance to get 06' Suzuki GS500F its only got 500 miles on it and is in like new condition for $4000. I was wondering if you guys thought its worth it to go ahead and pick it up or if I should start smaller? Thanks for any help!

KBB says $2380 to $3495. So was the first service done?

I have had many friends start their riding careers on the GS500. Good dependable machine.

Have you sat on it? If so, how did it feel for fit?
