Does anyone have any experience with the Chatterbox or any other of the intercom systems used to speak to other riders while you are traveling? I am looking to see if the product works well, is it easy to install, does it hold up??
Thanks

I haven't used any since the Nady systems of the eighties, and they were REALLY bad. I heard the new chatterbox systems work well however......

But let's face it, "torque" wasn't really a movie based on realism

I've had my Chatterbox unit for 2 1/2 years. Great product. It does take some "tweaking" to set the vox to the right sensitivity, but if you use the PTT then it's all good from the beginning. I have the one (can't remember the model) that has a 2 mile range. In reality, it probably only goes 1/2 mile, but we usually ride fairly close together anyway so it's not an issue. If your helmet is a noisy one it can make it difficult to hear at speeds above 55 mph. I don't have a problem at all hearing. I also use mine to pipe in music for those long trips. AWESOME!! I'd get another one given the chance.

God Nibblers! Now you've shattered ALL my illusions.
I put off seeing Torque till a fortnight ago. I loved it. What a hoot. Daftest film I have seen for years.
