MSF Course Required In Florida

Starting July 1, taking the MSF course will be mandatory in Florida. Has anybody here heard of the state possibly picking up some of the costs of the course? My concern is, since the cost of the course is run by privately run organizations certified by the state, what is to stop them from jacking the price up? Right now it's between $190-$245 for the 2.5 day course.
I wish Florida would do like Ohio does. A salesman at our firm is an instructor there for the state and for HD. The MSF in Ohio costs $25! Whenever somebody gets a regular license, $5 of the fee goes toward motorcycle safety, allowing the state to hire instructors and keep the cost low.
I am still doing my homework, so I don't expect to take the course for another month or two at least, but I'd to find out that when I go to sign up, the price has increased another couple of hundred dollars.
