New or Holdover model

I'm about to buy a Ninja 650r. It was manufacturer in November 2007 and was on the showroom floor. We still haven't finalized the deal (see "financing paperwork") but will end up @ $6800 OTD.

Anyway, would you consider this close to a holdover (and the dealer is trying to get rid of it) or is it still the 2008 season. If it is a holdover, then I'm going to shop for a better deal.

If that's the case, then that OTD price isn't too bad because the sales tax alone in New Yawk City is about 8.5%....
