I road my recently purchased 1998 ultra w/ sidecar from Greenville to Maggie Valley NC about 7-800 miles round trip. It was spooky because the sidecar is new to me. My wife and I did temp the fates and stare death in the face a few times. But when we got to the wheels through time museum the owner Dale gave us a few tips to help us stay alive longer. If you ever get the chance its a great museum dedicated mostly to motorcycles but there is tons of other stuff there:

Also the great smokey mountains, black mountans and that area is beautiful and scenic.
