What a great site! Joined a little bit ago, but have been lurking for a while and thought I'd finally post. From S. Florida and currently ride an '03 Harley Dyna. Look forward to learning a lot here.

Thanks Dean! At first I thought it would be too big/powerful for me - glad I had second thoughts

Absolutely love this bike!

yeah. my wife and i recently saw a group of "older" riders. one of them was a lady and on a larger harley. my wife said, "wow, see that old lady on a bike harley!" i tried to explain to her that although there is balance and a bit of strength involved... that for the most part it's technique. i think that was one of the many things that has lead her to thinking she might one day ride.

Gee, I haven't been in NC lately

I've actually seen really petite women on "huge" bikes and wondered "I don't know if I could handle that one". Hope she gets on and rides - she'll be wondering why she hadn't done it earlier.
