I'm in GA

#1 Unread post by graymojocat »

I'm a new female biker. Riding on the back just isn't for me. I'm also a mom.

I have a 1982 honda cb650 that I haven't actually ridden yet because it's in the shop getting a tune up. I appreciate any advice that anyone wants to give me because I am a little nervous.

Welcome graymojocat! What I would suggest is that you sign up for the MSF safety course - it'll give you a good headstart on safety and for helping with being nervous.

Welcome to TMW. :)

Nervous is normal.

Have you done any riding on your own at all? Have you signed up for a class yet?

Yeah. I go for the class Aug 16th. I'm so excited about all of it, but nervous at the same time.
