I only get down to 50 mpg if I'm at redline the whole tank! I normally get 56-57 and if I grandma it I can get just north of 60.
It's my favorite bike though
Maybe my conversion to U.S. gallon is wrong

Well, either my conversion from imperial to US Gallon was wrong or you are running some kind of super fuel. The average I got was run over a trip to Thunder bay, Ontario and back. It was up the east side of Lake Superior which has a lot of hills and I had a moving average speed on the GPS of 109 km/h. (68 mph) Oh well, what ever the difference the ride was well worth it. The large tank comes in handy when you are riding in places that have 220 km (137 miles) between gas stations.
I stand corrected

OK, so just farting around in the lowlands of Southern Ontario behind all the city drivers and touristos I got 57.5 MPG (US) or 4.09 L/ 100 Km. (thats 69.06 MPG Imperial). The reduced fuel mileage going through the wilds of Northern Ontario were well worth it though.

That's what I'm finding I'm getting with my 2007 Suzuki DL650 V-Strom as well.

Sounds right to me... is your bike new or low in km's?
