I am from Charlotte. Just purchased a Honda Shadow VLX600 as my first street bike. I had alot of experience while growing up, I could ride a mini bike before a bicycle. Than after graduating HS, and being over taken by real life, I didn't have the opportunity to ride, kids, work, etc etc. My kids are grown and gone and this is the first opportunity to get back into it. Once bitten, you never ever lose the itch.

I have gotten my permit and will be taking the MSF in a couple of weeks.

Where are you taking the course? I'm scheduled at SPCC (Monroe) for the 12th of September - but I'm on the cancellation list so I expect to be in before that!!

I am taking my thru Rowan Community College, they have it at RIDE NOW in Conord. I wish it were sooner than Sept 5th. But it is way cheaper than the class at HD.
