I'm thinking of going from a Ninja 500 to a Shadow. I'm not sure if I should look at a 600 or a 750 Spirit tho. I love the get up and go of the ninja so would not want to drop any power but I'm not sure what specs to look at.
Thanks for the input

Well if you're looking at going from the Ninja to the Shadow, you're gonna lose some get up and go if it's anything under the 1100. So look at that one!
Good bikes all of em though!

I have a chance to go and see a 2002 Vulcan 750 with 4160 miles. $2600 but coming from dealer so I know won't see lower then $3100 or so but that is about book. Hope I like it...I don't think I'm ready size wise for an 1100 :D

I think the 750 won't be enough of a jump for you.

Did I read somewhere that yo have only been riding since March?

I think an 1100 might be a big jump with that experience. Doable maybe. But I think you are on the right track getting a 750.

Just out of curiosity, how many miles do you have total through your bikes? I still have my Ninja 250R... 3600 or so miles (haven't checked the spreadsheet lately).

dont get the 600 shadow in your case. Its not worth the only 4 gears.

I started on Hondas and owned a 600 shadow for awhile. IMO you should go with the 750. They have more power, more style, are affordable to buy and insure, and right now they are available. The dealers in my area ran out of 600's months ago. The salesman told me the 600 Shadow and the 250 Rebel flew out of the shop when gas hit $4 awhile back.
