Congrats on the Bike.

I got the very same bike about 2 months ago and I love it!

The guy I bought it from had the pipes replace before I got it so I can't help you out with that, Sorry.

Just remember to practice your emergency stops and swerves. It's a lot different than the msf bikes.

Happy riding

You're not going to find a new set, like these, for that kind of price. Maybe on E-bay.

Would be cheaper to buy a horn upgrade (such as the Stebel Nautilus Compact - around $40) than new pipes if you're looking to be more "visible" to traffic.

I have a question--as a new biker, I haven't be able to understand why people would want their rides to be louder. It would seem to me that it would increase the extent to which a rider annoys drivers and neighbors, and makes them even more isolated from their environment. What's your thinking on this?

I'd really like to give my bike a nice throatier can... But I have neighbours too, and about to start shift work. It just wouldn't be fair on everyone else in-my-not-so-humble-opinion. Each to their own though, I appreciate some people live in a great expanse of nothingness and can get away with that kinda thing.
