All of a sudden my V Star 1100 seems to be flooding when starting. Even after riding and taking a break, when go to retart it will not catch and I have to try several times before it will finally catch and then I really have to give it so gas. I just started doing this today. Was riding up Mt. Rainer so we had several stops along the way. Thought it might be because we had to go so slow much of the way but it didn't do it going to Mt St. Helen's. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Once you had the bike back down in thicker air and cooled off, did the problem persist? Hot engines in thin air can act like this.
You may have a torn diaphragm in one of the carbs or something.....

Finally got a chance to ride. Move over to the OR coast and it has been rain, rain and more rain. Today got out and rode about 40 miles on HWY 101 and it seemed to do ok. Stopped several times and it always started right up, so I guess it was the thin air. Thanks for input.
