Spark Plugs for 2007 Yamaha V-Star 650

Does anyone have any idea what is the best spark plug to install in a 2007 Yamaha V-Star 650? I was told not to install anything but NGK products.
Is this correct?

The recommended plugs that I've always tried to use are the NGK DPR7EA-9 and Denso X22EPR-U9
