I am out in Eastern Pennsylvania. I bought my bike years ago with only 3000 miles on it. I rode it for about two years (but still has low mileage) and then babies entered the picture and that temporarily changed everything. I was wondering if anyone has some guidance on selling bikes? I have an 84 Honda Ascot Candy Red with low mileage and garage kept. I looked up the blue book value and I know it has to be worth more then what it says. They only made the bike in 83 and 84 and people who are into them are really into them. I think it's a great bike but for various reasons am thinking of selling it. Where do I start with coming up with the right price?

I have a feeling now that I have discovered this forum, my riding days aren't over just put on hold for a bit!! :)

Thank you in advance for anyone with suggestions as to where I start.

Dude Kelly Blue Book (for my zip code) says $765 to $1225. As somebody that buys and sells one or two bikes a year I would only buy one between those numbers. As somebody that really likes bikes like this I might pay up to $2000 for a really nice, low mileage unit that was ready to ride. There is an Ascot Owner's Group on YAHOO. You might want to ask there.

I'd ride that puppie. Then I'd ride it some more.
