I have a virago that when you turn the cut off to run the relay assembly ticks and the bike won't start. If I unplug it, it will start up for a moment but then cut off. Does anyone know what the problem is?

You need to restate your question. Start with putting your key in and go from there step by step. It not clear whats going on. i.e does the starter engage? do you have spark at the spark plugs? etc... ?
