Californian Newbie *waves*

Hey everyone, lechicklet here =]
I'm 25/F from the central coast of California. I found this site after I signed up for MSF class this summer and I can't wait to get into some great topics of this great community.
One of my first memories was when I saw another kid riding an ATV in his backyard. I must've been 4 years old or so.... I wanted one soooo bad. I asked my dad if I could have one and he gave me the ol "maybe someday kid." Ever since then I've had the itch to ride motorcycles, dirt bikes, you name it. But to make a long story short, I never had the chance to learn or get a bike.
Until this summer.
Just finished my MSF class and I will have my license by the end of this month. I'm checking out the market for a bike, but I'm also looking for my own place, so the bike will have to come later than I hoped. But I might just get a little tinker dirt bike to play around with until I buy a street bike.

P.S. I prefer Naked bikes and I'm a Ducati fan.
