Modifying Exhaust
Modifying Exhaust
I like to modify my exhaust. can anyone tell me your performance experience with this exhaust in www.motorcyclepartshonda.com
Hehe... Because your CBR rice rocket definitely needs to make more noise...
Seriously, that's the primary gain you'll get out of a slip on muffler with no modifications to the fuel injection mapping. In fact, it's actually possible for you to lose a little performance by doing this.
If you installed a full aftermarket exhaust/intake and had the fuel map properly modified to compensate, you might see a few horsepower and pound-feet of torque (four or five?) gain and maybe slightly better throttle response. I can't imagine it will make one iota of difference unless you're taking the bike to the track.
