Service manual

Is an 04 Vulcan 500 similar enough to an 07 that most of the engine maintenance specs are the same? The reason I ask is because I have the '85-'04 Vulcan 500 manual as a PDF file and I don't want to buy another manual if I don't have to. Call me cheap, I call it resourceful.
