I could probably sell my horse for a motorcycle.
Hey there! I've always wanted a motorcycle but always lived in places that they aren't practical year-round. So it became a toss-up between reliable transportation year-round (a car
) or not. And since I live in Colorado Springs, CO where the transportation system is the most terrible I've ever personally seen...well, the car won.
As it stands I am still unable to also afford the motorcycle. Or even the Basic Riders Course. I can probably afford pretty good gloves. >_> However, in the meantime it seemed like a good idea to read up on advice about gear, tips, etc.
One thing that sucks so far is how short I am though. I've read the SBL and know that I'm not completely limited in my bike choices, but still...it's sad. I top out at 4'11". I think it's actually 4'11.5" but that just looks mentally challenged.
Oh well, I'll have to get over it, right? Anyway, that's my intro. Guess I'll go lurk a little more.
