This article appeared in the local paper, I don't know if it was just the mood I was in or what, but I had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard. Anyway, I found a copy of it online and thought I'd share.

Clarkson's often annoying, but always hilarious :)

Looks like the perspective of a journalist who was determined to hate the experience of riding before he ever attempted it.

Riding a Vespa on a cold rainy day im sure helped reinforce that.

Didn't Clarkson get his wife a Ducati? Still I get annoyed when it comes to bikes people assume automatic death without so much the mention of safety gear.

It's good to see you jmill.

Finally somebody who agrees with me. I get flamed for stating the same. He IS somewhat of an idiot albeit entertaining one. He even admits is. LOL

I have to agree Thumper, and for those of you not familiar with Clarkson, he is a bitter, bitter man, with nothing good to say about anything. Read some of his other reviews, you will either get the humour and laugh, or you'll grow tired of his shtick pretty quick and want to slap him upside the head

That was amusing....I bet if we heard it in person it would be even funnier.

I think he's just playing to the gallery. It IS shtick, but if it's well written and funny, I'm game. There are enough reviewers out there anyway who'll tell me about trunk space and mpg.

 Can someone please breakdown the humor/ignorance ratio? Was he seriously referring to the bars as a "steering wheel" or is that his flavor of funny?
