It has been proven that a flashing light is more visible than one steady on. That is one reason why the U.S. Federal DOT has legalized headlight modulators for safety. Its been reported that most motorcycle accidents involve front-end collisions. What's your safety worth?
My company is the leading manufacturer of headlight modules. I just wanted to know what positive or negative experiences or comments you have about these devices.

Let's see...you want me to buy another device to try to make me more visible to the inattentive knuckleheads driving around with their heads up their a$$es.
How much is your device?

I'm just here to find out what people think of the product, not to try to sell any. It's sad but true about the knucklehead drivers.

Bought one this summer as it makes sense to me. I'm a noob so I don't have much to compare it with in terms of cagers' reactions.
Plus, it's part of the agreement I have with my partner to do most everything I can to make it back home in one piece so I can add to my list of a gazillion mistakes as a parent.

I've seen these headlight modulators come and go. What does it do, intermittently reduce voltage to the bulb?

Errr. Not exactly.
http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/Motorcycle- ... r-regs.htm
This Federal law supersedes all state laws and makes motorcycle headlight modulators legal in all 50 states. FMVSS 108 (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) (49 CFR Part 571.108 S7.9.4) allows motorcycle headlight modulation systems all 50 states provided they comply with the standards set forth in this section.

Like allowing motorcycles in carpool lanes, headlight modulators are legal through federal law.
Now, alternating headlight modulation, also known as "wig wags" is still LEO-only.
