It was a glorious fall day, so I did a 192 mile, four state ride to Harper's Ferry, WV

But, seriously, I love October around here. The weather is cool enough to wear leather jackets both on and off the bike, the leaves are beautiful, it's football season, the brown trout are spawning. The only bad thing about THIS October is that I'm sick to the point of nausea with electioneering. And I'm a political scientist!
