Another year: I give up!

Each year I venture out to find riding pants.
Each year I give up! (2 decades now)
I am short and volumptuous (like my choice in words notice I did not say the "F" word

) and they just don't make riding pants for curvy woman. When I do find a pair that fits my buttee'

they are about a foot too long, or they fit up all the way up under my b**bs, what is up with that? Do they think woman that are plus size are all tall or all legs?
I don't want to buy a guys pair, not that they would fit any better.
I want a cute gal pair.
So if there are makers out there reading this PLEASE start thinking about curvy petite woman.
Ok laugh away....my bad half (i'm the better) thinks it's funny he says just loose weight...hah! I told him it will not make any difference there still too long.

Pick any gear, pants or jackets, and they don't fit most women. It really sucks. Other than one jacket, all my stuff is men's gear. I don't think the manufactures care.

It is really frustrating. I have a terrible time finding things that fit well. I have no legs and not very big. So everything is huge. It is hard to even find cool tshirts.
There is things available on the net, but sizes vary so much, you can never be sure of the fit.
I have thought about starting my own, girl biker boutique.

Can you have a pair altered or shortened?

I have the same problem. I am 5'1" and 175 lbs and can find no riding pants to fit

I, too, have given up trying.

After having some local riders in some really bad accidents lately and having had the information that their body armor really minimized the injuries they sustained, I would suggest attampting to get a pair of pants which fit you are the waist the best, and like blues suggested, have them altered to fit you.
If you find a pair of pants you really love, I would also suggest contacting the comapny who makes them and ask if they can be made to your specs.
My friend has the same problem you do, and has to even have all of her sweat pants altered.

Take a look at
http://www.dragginjeans.com/default.aspx. They have a ton of sizes available. They are located not far from me. I have been thinking about driving up there and trying a pair on.

+1
I hear you on this one. I'm one of the lucky ones though and found a pair for winter, Frank Thomas motorcycle pants for Ladies that fit me. For colder temp's other options are to look to snow pants or even hunting gear. These won't look very girly-like, but they can afford some protection and possibilities for alterations. Good luck in your search!

I believe that draggin jeans will also custom make them. (or they did)

I have just placed an order for a pair of Joe Rocket, I will let you know how they fit, as far as length goes the ones that I ordered should be easy to shorten, hopefully the waist won't be a problem. If not old faithful (my leather chaps) then I start working on making my own!!
