Ick. I'll pass.

THIS is the look the Thunderbird should have stayed with...

I do love the look of that 2001 Thunderbird. :D The yellow/black one was my fav.

Yeah, that's a Thunderbird Sport. One of my all-time favorite bikes! A lot of Triumph owners think that Triumph should have called this new bike something else besides Thunderbird. As far as looks...... on first glance my brain says "Kawasaki". Nothing wrong with that, but Triumph should have gone for a more unique look.

This awsome looking bike also has a 1600 cc twin to push it along. It can be upgraded to a 1700cc(22 extra hp) with the big bore kit. This is one sweet looking ride, not another one that looks like everyone else's bike for sure!

Yes Agreed on the name. The new Triumph company always did strange things with the names. For example in the mid 1990s, their ape hanger bar Adventurer and the Adventure Touring Tiger definitely should have swapped names.

Funny you should mention Kawasaki, Mr. Stark. Since the initial batch of bikes from the new Triumph corporation were part Kawasakis, maybe it's going back to it's roots.

Does not compute :whome:

The inline twin just doesn't mesh with the low slung cruiser styling. The look of the bike just doesn't make sense to me.

IMHO look of that bike needs to either go more modern or more retro, right now its kind of a mish mosh between modern and retro that just looks off.

Funny....

It's the first Triumph that looks just right to me.

Nice clean lines everything looks sweet!

I'd say they got this one right....Hell, even I'd own one!!
