Starting a Gang

I bought my '93 Nighthawk new in '96. My buddy Doug recently bought a nice '02 model. A co-worker recently relocated to Phoenix and brought his '95 model. We all started riding in the olden days when standard bikes were the norm, so we gravitated to the Nighthawk. We're thinking of starting our own Nighthawk gang and terrorizing small towns with our quiet, stock piped, inline fours  They'll never hear us coming!

This weekend the temps were in the 70s in Phoenix, so we decided to take our first "gang" ride up to the small town of Payson, AZ. Had lunch at the airport restaurant.

Did your 93 Nighthawk come with that extended windscreen or is that aftermarket? It looks the 2k2 ones have a lot shorter windscreen.

All of the screens are aftermarket. Mine is a National Cycle Plexifairing III. It's got excellent coverage above and below. I'm not sure what brands the other two are, but they're about the size of a NC Street Shield.
The other guys were getting a bit chilly in the legs when we got up above 5,000 ft. on Sat.

That is so true. There was a fellow going on the ferry on the weekend who was riding a Honda CB1. He said it's a rare bike that was made for only a couple of years. It's a 400. I think he was crazy for riding.....not only was it about 35F.....the roads were icy.

I rode a NightHawk in training.....it was great.

You'll never be as scary as those Vespa gangs.

The place wasn't by chance named Dino's Bar & Grill?...where the drink will flow and the blood will spill?...

Nice! What will your colors look like?

On a side note: I've always loved the look of the Nighthawk. a 750 would be on my list if I was looking.
