Stuck Screw!

Has anyone removed the Anti-Vibration Weights from Handle Bars?

Myself and a friend tried to do this and we could not get them off. The screw would just not budge and I think the screw may be aluminum because it felt like we were going to strip it so we stopped.

The only reason I could think of those screws being stuck is that it's been around 5-10 degrees for about a week. Would the unbridled cold really hold a bolt in like that? Or is there another problem?

I don't want to take it to the dealer for something so easy but I know it'll be a whole lot more expensive if that screw gets stripped.

I'm talking about #5 and #6

If anyone has any advice please help.

I can't see the link here at work.. but stuck screws usually lead me to my impact driver. Works almost every time.

Well that screw is used to pull against a washer that expands a piece of rubber usually. So it is possible for the cold to make it stick, but i think it's probably just loc-tited in. Try using a hair dryer to warm it up, then spraying WD-40 or something on it.
