If you didn't know already it's an 1999 Yamaha YZF R6, had a little over 6k miles on it. All in all, well maintained. All I have to do now is wait for the snow to melt

Congrats, Duffy!! Looks like you found a good deal. Must be agonizing to be in New England and waiting for spring -- it's bad enough down here, so far our roads are clear..... for another couple of hours.

Congrats!!! I was looking at a YZF-R6 - it looks like a great bike. Ahhh decisions decisions.... Just wish I could have like 10 bikes. OK, maybe 5 bikes.

Just 6k miles on a 10-ish year old bike is amazing, and sounds like an awesome deal (since it was still maintained well).

thank you thank you thank you. Now this winter seems longer than ever. I'm delivering it at my friends and they are going to lower it and put on frame sliders (and check all the internals to make sure everything is up to spec). And then when it warms up they are going to bring me to a parking lot till I get use to the bike and feel comfortable enough to take it out in the street. I hope this bike treats me as well as I plan on treating it
