I'm eagerly awaiting the day I can take possession of an '07 BMW F650GS in the Glacier Blue colors. 2700 miles on it.
Waiting on a check to arrive from a financial institution, but it's just 10 biz days away.
I'm worse than a kid on Christmas eve!!

Ok, I've had some Aussie friends, but never heard that one. What's the derivation? I love language games, even tho I suck at 'em.
And thanks!!

And my Dr has said I don't have to wear a sling any more after rotator cuff surgery, so I can take the next BRC class at the end of Feb.
I went ahead & took the written exam at DMV, and passed that just fine, so now all I need for my coveted M is to complete BRC & show it to nice ladies at the DMV office.

Congrats! I know the feeling about having a bike and not having it.
In my case my bike is paid for, but it hasn't been delivered yet. It makes me nervous to have the dealer have possession of my property for so long. They said they would even hold it unit it was in season... But the heck with that. I'll have 1000 or more miles on the bike before the regular riding season starts.

Excellent choice. I was actually looking into those at one time for my first bike too

I love the look and the versatility of them. Feel your pain on the wait, it will just make the big day that much sweeter.

I finally got it!!!
Took it around the nieghborhood. As this is my first bike, I FINALLY am beginning to really understand countersteering. I wasn't able to ride when I took the BRC the first time b/c my shoulder was in a sling.
WEEEEEEEE!!!
