I have my nice new pretty Shoei helmet, and was looking around online at different shields for it.

I noticed that some come with 'Tear Off Posts'. What are these for?

Racing,

There are slim shields that attach to these posts. When your shield gets dirty when your racing you just tear off one of the layers and keep going!

I thought I had an Arai sized head too, after trying on a few Shoei's and Arai's. But I went into Cycle Gear the other day, and they had a very pretty Shoei, so i tried it on. It fit!! So I bought it. :)

It's the 1000, with the blue dragons.

Of course, the full set of riding leathers i got used from a retired gentleman are red & gray. So it clashes horribly. I can deal with that tho - the leather jacket & matching pants were $80.

:)

Nice helmet. I know the one you're talking about. Hey you've got full leathers for 80 bucks you can't beat that. About it clashing. I wouldn't worry about that to much because the most important thing is that you are protected! :spot:
