Had my g/f follow me tonight to eval how well my reflective tape works on my leathers. Not bad.

Came home, pulled around the yard, and apparently stopped badly, b/c I suddenly felt my rear tire slide away. I was laughing as I laid it down. My g/f said it looked like I did it on purpose.

No damage, as it was a very soft lay down, I didn't even really get off.

S'ok, now I'm in the first group of bikers - those who have dropped their bike, instead of the second group - those who have YET to drop.

Ahhh welcome to the club??? Sorry to hear about it, though. I just put my sliders on tonight.

I could kick myself. They were so cheap and so easy to install (once I bought the right tools).

Damn, I'm an idiot.

Haven't bought fork sliders, though. They all seem like they need to replace the axle and I am NOT ready to do that.
