I finally got in an accident...

#1 Unread post by icariz83 »

but my motorcycle wasn't involved.

What happened was I was on the roof down at work & I was coming down the ladder, it slid out from the bottom, and I rode it down and crashed hard on my leftt side. I partly blame myself because I should have asked my salesman to hold the ladder but he was too busy "talking to his girlfriend".

I broke my hip in 2 places & crushed my wrist, I have surgery on tuesday to put some plates in screws in my wrist. Recovery time is 6 weeks roughly but then I have to do physical therapy. The worst part is I just got my gel seat & my blueflame exhaust for my bike but I cannot use either now.

Oh well, the only problem I have is typing, putting on socks/shoes, eating anything requiring 2 hands, and going #2.

i broke my thumb in january. you never know how much you use your thumb until you can't. taking showers sucks, having to put a plastic bag over your arm and then taping it. man that sucks. i guess that its even worse for you with a broken hip too. good luck man.

Ouch! That sounds painful. Bones are usually much better when kept in their original configuration. Heal fast!
