I'm thinking of getting some new mufflers from JC Whitney. Are they probably going to be a bunch of junk or are they not bad for the money?

You'll get what you pay for with JC Whitney. Not necessarily a bad thing! Just hang on to the mufflers you have now in case you don't like them. It's not unreasonable to get a cheaper set, then in a couple years switch them out for something else. Just remember you will likely need to re-jet (or re-map for EFI) your fuel system. If you don't, you stand to run the engine too lean and this spells damage or doom in the long run.

Is that just a tuning thing? Or do I have to find different jets for my carbs? I have an old 360t and its pretty hard to find parts for it. Right now it has the stock pipes, but all the baffels are pulled out so its like running strait pipes, i figured that any muffler would be better for it than what I'm running now.
