Hello everybody,

I have a question regarding saddlebags and saddlebag support brackets. I want to purchase the saddlebags for my cruiser motorcycle and because of my geographical location I'm considering doing it on-line. Of all the saddlebag styles, models, prices, etc that I've seen... none of them come with the saddlebag support brakes. So my question is... do I have to separately buy the support brakes? are they really necessary... or more like... something that I could have but don't really need?.

Thank you all for your help. I just realized that I've never paid attention to the logistics of the saddle bags.

What about the protection brakes... are the same as the support brakes?

Luis.

Luis,

Have a look at www.bossbags.com

The bags are top quality and come with support brackets.

i agree, those are nice bags. if you do get a set without brackets, you will need to get a set, keeps the bags out of your rear wheel and from flopping around all willy-nilly and such

I have a pair of these puppies:

The are fairly expensive, but the bags have a hard shell, they are sealed to keep out moisture, they have locks, and you can remove and replace them in minutes. They come with mounting hardware that is specific to your bike. Take a look and see if you may be interested:http://leatherlyke.com/
