I have been looking for a honda rebel and found one on craigslist. I was in the middle of writing an e-mail and couldn't remember my other questions. The ones I could think of were......

"How long have you owned the bike?
Has it ever been in an accident?

So what are the questions I'm forgetting?

You're also going to want the maintenance history, mileage, and current condition.
Then when you go to inspect it in person bring someone knowledgeable about bikes with you...

Don't forget "Can you come down on the price?"

Seriously though, I'd also ask if it's been ridden often or if it's been sitting for a while. If a bike sits for too long all kinds of issues can creep up.
