78-81 Drum

Alright my friend has a 78 Honda Hawk and he is tring to take off the alternator drum is what he calls it(Drives the alternator). I can get i pic if you want but i was wonder how you get it off. It's on the Driver/Left and it's a 400cc. I don't have a motorcycle so i don't know much about them and i tried to search. Thanks

Sounds like the flywheel he is trying to get off. You need a flywheel puller.
