Hello, I don't know anything about motorcycles but my dad recently entered some weird phase, he is 65 years old and bought himself a motorcycle and it's kind of funny but I am also worried.

Anyways, he bought a really nice Triumph Rocket III classic and he likes it but he felt it was too tall for him, he asked me if I could find out online what people with the same problem he has do to lower the Rocket III or if it is even possible to do so.

So does anyone here know if there's a specific procedure or special job a workshop can make, maybe even in the dealership, to make the bike lower so that it fits him better?

Anyways, thanks for your help!

he is in houston right now by the way so if anyone knows of a place in houston that can do that job, pelase let me know! thanks!

Do you know if your dad has taken the MSF Riders class? If not I would recommend he do so ASAP. If your dad isn't an experienced rider the Rocket III is too big for him. The Rocket III is, after all, the largest production engine at 2.3 liters. Its engine is larger than many automobiles.

:welcome:

You are right to be worried if this is his first motorcycle. It's a hug machine with tons of power.

Take a look...it's one option.
