Farg I'm completely in awe of whats going on up there I do alot of EOC hurricane prep with the county here and i've had first hand expieriance with emergency ops and I truly hope that you and yours are fine through this. During these events you find how resiliant people are during trying times. Good luck to ya and if ya need a nice place to come and thaw out in florida give us a call!

I think we should be okay, we are on the "high" ground and should be a few feet above the current crest (42') If any of the levees break our neighborhood will be one of the "refuge" zones in town. The only thing hae to worry about is sewer backup, so I had to get some drain plugs. I was all set earlier this week to be out for spring test ride around the neighborhood, but we had to get a foot of snow and a bunch of rain, and a big stupid flood...ughhh. I shouldn't complain though, I could be in an area where i'd be watching my house float away.
