The problem with any "all time great movie" is that expectations are very high. So I was disapointed. It was ok maybe even a good story but great, no. Its a victim of its own success.

Thats pretty tough to nail down the "Greatest" but one of my favorites would be "Mask" with Sam Elliot and Cher or "Gladiator" with Russel Crowe

It's ranked in the top five films with Citizen Kane, Lawrence of Arabia, Gone with the Wind and the Godfather. (saw this today on the Cash Cab)

My personal choice of best film would be High Noon with Gary Cooper. Do Not Forsake Me OH My Darlin'

Personally, I think nailing down a single movie as the greatest is impossible. Now, best in different genres or decades may be an easier job...

I only think it's a great movie. I saw it in a rental store and it said on the back it's considered one of the best movies ever made.

I'm too much a sucker for non-stop action to rate this as my favorite movie of all time. Though I think it's definatly in the top 10, if not top 5. I'd have to put some thought into that list, sonething I'm not willing to do right now.
