What you need to do is get a manual that covers each year. That way you find out what each "vent" actually does.

Maybe a CA model with an evap canister?
I just looked on the BikeBandit web site, if you look there you'll see several lines on both the later model tanks both CA and 49-state. Check out the fuel evaporatvie page, you might see where your vent lines go from there.
