Played with a garage full of bikes . . .

Well, sort of. I told the guy at my local beemer dealership that I was interested in an oilhead. He had a pre-owned one in stock and dropped it over so I could try it out over the the weekend. He also dropped off an F800S if I wanted to try one out. I wasn't that interested in the S to be honest (maybe the ST, but he didn't have one of those). It was tons of fun though to ride up and down a few of my favorite roads, go back to the house, and try the same thing on a different bike. Felt very "motojournalisty"

PS, In the case of the R1150R, this was my first time to ride on a bike that was significantly bigger than mine. However, I still preferred it to the F800. I also thought it was easier to ride; the F800S was a bit too sporty for my taste. YMMV of course.
