I've been away for a while, life has taken most of my time, started my Honda today and I am itching to ride.
with only 600 miles under my newby belt I am going to do some practice at the local school after work, turns and such just to knock the rust off.
last year more medical problems (knee) and coaching(youth football) ended my season early so I am hoping to get some more miles in this spring.
the tires are the only part of the bike I want touching the road, right?

yup thats about it ox. Tires on the road, handlebars up in the air and the headlight pointing in the direction of travel.
Oh and watch for the murderous beasts with four wheels and no brains.

Shiny side up, sticky side down.
Don't forget to check tires, fluids, etc. Last time I pulled out a bike after not riding for a few months the tires were way low, but not enough to be visually obvious.

hello all,
I love the bottom line here-----murderous beast with four wheels; so true for sure!!!!
Yeah, spring is in the air and time to hit the road again. I am still new at this so do you have any more tips for me? Like where to find the best leather gear and stuff like that? Thanks, Sam.
