New to the site, i was curious if anyone could provide me with some guidance on blacking out my exhaust. i know there are some tapes out there, but i was curious if there was a preferred method.

You can get high temp paint and paint them. If you do that then you have to cure the paint with heat, which means you either have to take the pipes off and paint them, bake them,( if you have an industrial oven) then put them back on, or you have to paint them on the bike and run the bike for a while. Both have their disadvantages.
You could also get the heat wrap which I think starts out white then turns black over time. Not sure if you can get it in black to start out with.

Whatever you prefer is the preferred method. :D

I had mine ceramic coated in black -- has lasted a good 3 years or so. Also cools a lot quicker. . .
