Ya coulda fooled me. Explain how it happens to be "brand new" yet has 650 mies on it. I is curious.
The next question is: assuming one of these is "brand new" without any miles, what would be the asking price? Answer that and you should be able to work out the answer to your question.

I don't know about that. All sounded okay until you said he is the THIRD owner. Being the fourth owner on a bike with only 650 miles on it doesn't sound like a good idea. My bike's pretty new, with 3500 miles on it, and I'm the first owner.
I just don't see someone getting rid of it SO QUICK if it's really a good bike.

I'd definitely have a conversation with the current owner. Ask why they're selling and see if you can find out why the previous owner sold the bike.
It could be that this bike has simply been in the hands of 3 other newbie (or returning) riders who either decided riding wasn't for them or didn't have time to ride or they liked sport bikes, etc. etc. . . . So many reasons that ARE NOT 'bad' as well as red flag reasons for the bike to have had so many owners.

I guess one other reason is they all rode it and decided that they needed to upgrade to the 1100 or another bike...

I've talked to the guy that owns it now alot, He's a nice guy and is just selling it because he doesn't have the time to ride anymore (he owns a local business and works alot) I just want to know if I am getting in over my head with such a new bike.
edit: sorry, Second owner. He bought it from someone that was a student here and coulden't bring it with him when he moved
