Strange that noone has replied. I didn't know they made a 250cc Virago though.

If no-one here has had time on one, there's a short review of the 250 and its competition
here.

I have a 250 virago. It's not bad. It's got pretty good get up and go. It's hard to get into neutral. It's a lot of fun to ride. I also have a 750 virago and a 750 vulcan. I've gotten spoiled to my vulcan but the 250 is still a nice bike. I would recommend it as a new bike. My son rides it around the yard and pasture. He's only 11 so I think any adult could ride the 250.
I just thought I'd add my 2 cents.

Thanks for the feedback. I have 650 V Star Custom, just thought it might be a fun bike in addition to the 650. I rode the Virago 250 while taking the MSC and liked it alot.

Maybe check with Freeride, he's a new member, he has a Virago 250 that he bought last August, sounds like he's really enjoying it.

Hi ya_zuma
Yes,I own a '04 Virago 250 and really enjoy riding it. It's a great little bike and Sarek is right about finding neutral. Once in a while I have a problem getting in neutral seems to happen when I ride for at least an hour or so, that aside you really can't go wrong if you decide to own one. I average between 58-60 mpg. That's some great milage with today's high gas prices. Some of my riding friends think it's bigger than a 250 cc because it is a cruiser and has a big bike look to it.
All in all, I'm very satisfied with the perfomance and the cool looks I get from other riders and good comments. I recently went on a group ride with 5 Harley riders and I kept up with the big Harleys with no problems. It's a bike I can recommend.

That sounds like a cool 250cc bike. If gas prices keep going up I might have to get one!
