Automatic cut out for the kickstand....

Do all newer bikes have an automatic engine cut if the bike is put in gear and the kickstand is left down?

Most, but not all. Harley, for example, has never put sidestand or neutral cutouts on their bikes.

You'd think so, but you should have seen me the first couple months after I bought it. I was so pampered by my last three bikes with their sidestand and neutral cutout switches that... well, let's just say there were a couple of incidents where I looked real silly riding away with the sidestand down.

i think thats the only thing ive never done. before i start the bike i make sure the kickstand is up. and when i go to put my foot up on the peg i do a natural sweep where the stand would be before my foot goes onto the peg.

i dont even know if mine has a cutout lol im sure it does though.
