Hey you two....and any other lower mainland rider,
On the spur of the moment, I've decided that I'll be catching the 1:20 Sailing from Horseshoe Bay to Gibsons to do a ride about and picture taking tour of the sunshine coast today. Figure on catching the last or next to last sailing back to the lower mainland.
Feel free to join up if you like or have the time.

That's alright, just after I posted this I got a call and now its too late to make the trip...sigh....why do families have to interfere with spur of the moment plans? Anyways, off to Cultus Lake instead.

Ceemes, if you ever do manage to meet up with Ms Blues please give her a hug from me. I flew all the way out to Vancouver a couple years back just to meet her, but she canceled out at the last minute and left me heartbroken.
Ok, it was actually because of a job interview that I flew out there and she had to cancel our dinner date because she was sick, but I was still heartbroken.

There is actually a little more to it than that.....we had planned on meeting...that is true....
But then the company that was interviewing him wanted to keep him quite late.....a bit late for me....
We'll make it happen one of these days....

Yeah, that was a long night. Thought I had the job in the bag and was pretty much told that at the end of the night, but it didn't quite go that way.
Still heartbroken about not meeting you, though.

I was also disappointed.
I've heard so much about the 1000 Lakes district....is it affordable to buy a home there?

In Ontario...for some reason I thought you were in that area....
I am dissatified with the status quo these days.....I want out of strata living and into a single home on a lot.....which means getting out of Vancouver because it is far too expensive....and...a myriad of other reasons that would be better left unsaid in a public forum.

I used to live in the Thousand Islands region, maybe that's where you're thinking of? I'm now in the southwestern part of Ontario about 40min east from the eastern shoreline of Lake Huron.
