Hello
I have been riding a honda magna 750 for about three years now and am looking to go a bit bigger. I am looking at something like a 1300 or larger metric cruiser. I am looking for something that will be good for trips but easily customizable, wanting to rake it and put a fat tire on it. Any Suggestions?

You could just get the new Honda Fury.....It's already raked and has a fat tire....

Yup, same with the Yamaha Raider. Or the Suzuki C/M109. Those have, besides the Fury, the widest tires on any production bike. 250s IIRC

A buddy of mine rides a Magna and had the frame bent(and fork tubes + busted braket etc) when someone backed into it while it was parked. After going to a bunch of dealers and trying every kind of bike you can imagine. He spent $3200 and got a new frame and all the rest of the bits it needed. It's now pretty much a brand new bike and he's a happy camper. He just couldn't find anything he liked better then that magna. i have to admit it's the most comfortable bike i've ever sat on. i know this doesn't help you much, but you have a pretty good bike. Good luck in your search.

Kawasaki's are very reliable. I have an '87 Concours with over 60,000 miles on it. I put about 250 miles on it today, running back roads between Kansas City and Skidmore MO.
