working on gauges?

ok my gauges have inserts and indi-glow light in them. for whatever reason it looks like the insert has seperated/falling away from the lens. now the light leaks in around the edges of the inserts and the inserts are at a slight angle. now im wondering how hard it will be to take the gauges off to try and fix this. should it be a farily easy job to just unbolt/unplug and work on. i assume its all digital and dont have to worry about pressurization of any thing to screw up?
